Overview of Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEO Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, a passion for driving organic traffic, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various teams to achieve our digital marketing goals. Our primary focus is on continuing to optimize our websites so that they rank as top performers in google. A large focus is on our top 10 blog listicles and expo pages.

Key Responsibilities

- Keyword Research: Conduct regular keyword research to identify opportunities and integrate findings into blog content and other website areas.
- Backlink Creation: Execute strategies to acquire high-quality backlinks to improve domain authority and search engine rankings.
- On-Page SEO: Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, images, and URLs to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
- Content Optimization: Optimize landing pages, and blogs for search engines to maximize visibility and engagement.
- SEO Audit: Conduct thorough SEO audits to identify technical issues, content gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
- Ranking Monitoring: Track and analyze keyword rankings, making adjustments to strategies as needed to improve performance.
- Content Collaboration: Work closely with article writers to drive SEO-focused content creation, ensuring alignment with keyword strategies and SEO goals.
- Technical SEO Implementation: Collaborate with developers to ensure that all technical SEO elements are correctly implemented and maintained.
- Team Collaboration: Work with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are understood and implemented across all digital content and campaigns.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize SEO tools and analytics platforms to monitor website performance, track keyword rankings, organic traffic, and user engagement metrics.
- Google Analytics 4: Utilize Google Analytics 4 to gain insights into user behavior and campaign performance.
- Google Search Console: Use Google Search Console to monitor and improve website health and search engine performance.
- SEO Tools: Be proficient with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Serpstat, SEMrush, or equivalents to conduct research, monitor performance, and refine strategies.
- WordPress and Yoast SEO: Utilize familiarity with WordPress and Yoast SEO to manage and enhance website content.
- HTML, CSS, and CMS: Apply knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems (CMS) for effective content management and optimization.
AI Integration: Use AI tools for SEO and translate AI-generated data into human-like, engaging content.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Proficient in using SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Serpstat, SEMrush, or equivalent.
- Experience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console.
- Knowledge of on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
- Ability to conduct thorough SEO audits and implement recommendations.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Understanding of digital marketing and social media marketing strategies.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Yoast SEO, HTML, CSS, and CMS.
- Ability to use AI tools for SEO and convert AI-written content into more human-like language.
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and digital marketing.
