Job Description
As an SEM specialist at Digital Hitmen, you will become part of a dynamic and supportive team of industry experts, your diverse skills and contributions will play a crucial role in building trust and delivering real results.
You will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive search engine marketing strategies that include SEO, PPC, and technical SEO techniques that aim to improve the online visibility and search rankings for our clients.
Our client base ranges from small local service-based businesses to national ecommerce giants, reflecting the wide variety of industries we service across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities
- Perform keyword research and analysis to drive the most valuable traffic to client campaigns.
- Conduct thorough technical SEO audits of websites to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for optimisation.
- Develop and implement PPC campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media platforms.
- Analyse trends and competition to inform content and ad execution strategies
- Implement technical SEO best practices, including optimisation of website structure, code, sitemaps, page speed and performance.
- Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure that content is optimised for search engines and aligned with SEO strategies.
- Conduct thorough technical SEO audits of websites to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for optimisation.
- Regularly review and analyse client websites for areas that can be improved and optimised.
- Tailor SEO strategies to each client's unique business needs and objectives.
- Ensure on-page SEO elements (meta tags, headers, URL structure, etc.) are effectively optimised.
- Manage the Digital PR outreach for Digital Hitmen agency website.
- Improve off-page SEO by developing a strong backlink profile.
- Monitor and analyse SEO performance using various analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Lighthouse, Semrush, Agency Analytics, etc).
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients on SEO campaign performance.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients regarding SEO strategies, updates, and outcomes.
Candidate requirements
- Proficient with website architecture and structured data markup
- Experience with campaign management from concept to delivery
- Ability to optimise website performance and page speed
- Expertise in tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Semrush, Google Lighthouse, Google Keyword Planner, Google Tag Manager, GA4, and Google Search Console
- Understanding of domain and web hosting server configurations
- Ability to create a site hierarchy based on relationships between pages
- Knowledge of varied CMS platforms, including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.
- Ability to create and optimise sitemaps
- Expertise in link building strategies
- Ability to build backlinks through websites with reputable, high DR rankings
- Experience with Digital PR outreach and platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot SEO errors
- In-depth knowledge of schema.org
- Proficient in URL structures, permalinks, taxonomies and redirects
- Experience with local, international and multilingual SEO
- Understanding of data analysis, reporting and presenting results to clients
- Good understanding of digital landscape, SEO, and emerging trends
- Experience in copywriting
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, digital communications, or similar.
- 2-3 years of digital marketing experience
- 1-2 years of technical SEO experience in an agency setting
- Experience with analytical tools. Google Analytics, SEO and Google Ads certification are a plus
