Reform Digital are looking for an SEO superstar to take the Lead of our SEO department, reporting to the Head of Digital Performance within one of Australia's most strategic agencies.

Management Responsibilities:

- You will manage the SEO team (onsite and offsite) and set expectations for the team around delivery, communication and relationship management with key stakeholders.
- You will also be responsible for managing the accounts of a select group of clients to ensure the SEO delivery is of a premium quality.
- Manage SEO portfolio capacity across the team, delegating accounts and balancing workloads.
- Participate in internal meetings and help to navigate the success of the agency with fellow Channel Managers and the leadership team.
- Create processes and procedures for the SEO team and ensure that team members are trained and following them.
- Develop the team by setting KPI’s, run performance reviews and create and lead development plans.
- Assist with team escalations and provide coverage for the team.
- Organise and run regular team WIPs and monthly 1-on-1 meetings with each team member.
- Work collaboratively with the Paid and Content teams.

SEO Responsibilities:

- Developing SEO strategies for some of Australia’s and the worlds largest brands.
- Work closely with the wider SEO and Copywriting team to refine our service offering and ensure it is
- Running and organising the SEO department with a level of autonomy.
- Work on forecasting and profitability projections for the department.
- Reporting team and campaign performance to the management team internally.
- Communicating directly with our amazing and loyal client base from a technical and expert position.
- Get involved in our thriving agency culture.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

- Minimum 3+ years experience working in agency and SEO environments
- 2 years experience in a client-facing role
- A deep understanding of SEO best practices & strategies
- Confidence in leading strategic discussions on topics such as Technical SEO, - Conversion Rate Optimisation, Content Marketing, Offsite SEO
- Expert in Google Search Console
- Experience using SEO tools such as SEMRush, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs etc
- Understanding of the workings of HTML & CSS (bonus)
- Up to date with Google Algorithm updates
- Ability to manage expectations & timelines of both internal & external stakeholders
- Ability to prepare & deliver strategy & reporting documents
- Love of teamwork and ability to also be an individual contributor
- Drive, determination & a hunger to learn & grow
- Strong communication skills and a "can-do" attitude
