About the Role

As a Client Success Manager / SEO Strategist at Calibre9, you will be pivotal in fostering strong client relationships and driving the success of SEO campaigns. In this role, you will communicate directly with clients to understand their goals and address their queries promptly. Your expertise in SEO will allow you to develop tailored strategies that align with client objectives, focusing on comprehensive keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance monitoring.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of SEO campaigns, from setting timelines and overseeing deliverables in project management tools like Asana, to conducting website audits and creating content strategies. Utilising a variety of SEO tools, such as AHREFS, SEMRush, and Google Analytics, you will enhance campaign effectiveness and ensure measurable results.

Your role will also involve maintaining high client retention rates through proactive problem-solving and exceptional service. Collaborating closely with other teams, including sales and tech, you will assist in driving the agency’s growth while ensuring client satisfaction at every touchpoint.

In essence, your role is to act as the bridge between Calibre9 and its clients, ensuring that all SEO initiatives are executed flawlessly and contribute to the client's ultimate success and satisfaction. The role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and achieving strategic objectives through effective communication, problem-solving, and innovative SEO practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Client Communication: Regularly interact with clients via phone and email to address queries, discuss requirements, and provide updates
- SEO Strategy Development: Design and implement SEO strategies that align with client objectives, including keyword research, competitor analysis, and website audits
- Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of SEO campaigns, manage timelines and deliverables using project management tools like Asana
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyse the performance of SEO campaigns to ensure optimal outcomes
- Content Strategy: Develop content strategies that effectively attract and engage target audiences
- Tool Utilisation: Use SEO tools such as AHREFS, SEMRush, Google Business Profiles, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to enhance campaign effectiveness
- Client Retention: Handle client concerns proactively to manage retention and ensure client satisfaction
- Team Collaboration: Provide support to the sales and tech teams as needed

Skills and Experience

- 1+ years of agency experience in a similar role
- Relevant degree (Business, Marketing, or Communications) is ideal, but not essential
- SEO Knowledge: Strong understanding of SEO practices and familiarity with essential SEO tools
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to build rapport and maintain strong client relationships
- Organisational Skills: Highly organised and process-driven, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Customer Service: Commitment to outstanding customer service, aiming to exceed client expectations consistently
- Learning and Adaptability: Quick to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments
