About The Role

As an SEO specialist, you will play a pivotal role in helping us achieve our goal of increased organic search engine traffic and maintaining our competitive edge in the market. We are seeking a specialist who can bring SEO expertise, reliability, and innovative link-building strategies to our team. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate with our current team, taking ownership of their responsibilities while continuously driving our SEO efforts forward.

What You'll Do

- Conduct regular SEO audits to identify areas of improvement.
- Develop optimisation strategies that increase the company’s ranking in search engines.
- Help tailor content for target audience(s).
- Monitor search terms, rankings and analytics to monitor performance and recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and integrate content marketing strategies into brand and product promotions.
- Acquire high-quality backlinks through various strategies.
- Arranging and managing interviews with Shockbyte leaders to secure backlinks.
- Conducting case studies on suppliers/platforms to earn backlinks.
- Promoting content such as blog posts and articles to journalists and websites for link acquisition.
- Work with and partner with game studios to get our product pages linked on their websites.
- Identify and resolve technical SEO/website issues.

Required Criteria

- High proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of online marketing platforms (e.g., Google, Google Ads, Bing, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
- Experience testing and optimising responsive landing pages and emails.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs.
- Able to demonstrate excellent knowledge of search engine optimization best practices.
- Extensive experience in Off-Page SEO and Technical
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analysis and logical-thinking skills.
- Strong sense of job responsibility and ownership.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Understanding of current marketing and data privacy regulations.
