The Story
This is an Australian-founded SaaS business that builds technology that creates the best guest experience within the leisure and attractions industry. From ticketing to POS, CRM, memberships, payments, guest feedback, and plenty more.
While the tech industry was on fire in the US and being torn to bits in Australia, ROLLER has continued to grow, here and abroad, and secure further investment, in a time where only a select few businesses were able to raise.

The Role
A mix of strategy and execution with lots of autonomy. You’ll act as the SME in the business for all things organic + search. This is a stand-alone gig and a key first hire for them as they bring things in-house.
Build and shape their strategic direction in an industry where content & organic is the golden child, and a business where SEO is sponsored by the SLT.
Setup their SEO practice from scratch: with the freedom (and mandate) to define tools & systems and how they in turn integrate with the rest of the business.
This is a hands-on gig around SEO & content. Elevating their online presence, propelling organic traffic, enhancing their search engine rankings, analysing data, and reporting back to the business on performance.
Manage and build relationships with internal stakeholders, from partnering closely with their content and creative teams, collaborating with your counterpart in performance/paid, their product marketing & marketing manager, even their customer success team, and presenting back to their SLT.
What You Bring To The Role
SEO is your thing. You have a rich history of crafting and executing SEO strategies that resonate with business objectives, and can point to examples where you’ve amplified customer acquisition and fueled organic growth.
You have a creative brain around content marketing + optimisation, and can nerd out on keyword research.
You have a bias towards action and have the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced scaling environment. You’re okay with a bit of ambiguity and unknowns, you’ll be excited by the blank canvas and opportunity to come up with solutions.
You have tech chops and can get into the weeds of websites, with practical knowledge of SEO tools and platforms too. They use Google Analytics and Hubspot (for now) and will be keen to hear what you think they should implement next.
You are naturally analytical and love translating insights into actionable SEO strategies.
You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, and enjoy working closely with cross functional teams, managing diverse stakeholders, and can project manage outcomes across those groups.
