Based in Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements, the Global Digital Content and SEO Lead role has become available to lead the Global Digital Website Experience function in Ego with focus on content management and personalisation.

The primary objectives of the role include:

- Lead the Global Digital Content and SEO Strategy, focusing on relevant content, optimizing organic search, enhancing customer experiences, and conducting A/B testing to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee product data ownership for websites created on Adobe Experience Manager and its integration with Ego’s Product Information Management System(OnPack)
- Mentor the Global Content Specialist through empowerment and leadership

The role and responsibilities include:

Content Management

- Oversee the content management process, ensuring content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with SEO and UX best practices.
- Work with content creators to develop and implement a content strategy that supports business goals.
- Ensure all content is optimised for search engines and adheres to brand guidelines.
- Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant content delivery.
- Utilize content management systems (AEM) to publish and update website content and PIM to maintain product data
- Manage website redesign to ensure consistency across regions
- Support the Global Digital Analyst in setting, monitoring and reporting on key website KPI measures
- Support the Global Digital Team with user acceptance testing of new website components and experiences

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Conduct keyword research, on-page optimisation, and technical SEO audits.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Collaborate with content creators to optimize content for search engines while maintaining user engagement.

User Experience (UX) Design

- Support the design and development of user-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure the seamless implementation of UX designs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the user experience based on feedback and analytics.

The role works with Digital Marketing Leads and Brand Managers across the six global regions of Ego.
Work outside normal work hours may be required to accommodate for regional time zone differences, along with possible interstate and overseas travel as required.
