Your New Opportunity

The SEO Copywriter will be responsible for reviewing, writing and optimising copy according to SEO best practices. Reporting to the SEO Manager, the Copywriter will provide support in executing SEO strategy across all digital channels.

What you’ll be doing

- Create and write SEO-friendly long and short form content
- Conduct key word mapping and research to identify opportunities to increase rankings with assistance from SEO manager.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis to identify content and backlink gaps with assistance from SEO manager.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continuously review and improve content while ensuring content follows - client brand guidelines
- Provide support to SEO Manager to execute SEO strategies.
- Interact with the client and account management to gain a total understanding of the client’s business strategy and the market in which it is competing
- Work with clients and account management to gain a thorough understanding of the business, marketplace, project goals and specific objectives

About You

- 1-2 years + previous experience in a similar role, advertising/marketing agencies or lifestyle/culture media outlets advantageous
- Proven track record of good portfolio of big ideas
- Strong understanding of core SEO principles
- Ability to reach various audiences, using a range of voice, style and format
- Strong understanding of brand, product, digital media and how people interact with each
- A natural and intuitive researcher with great eye for detail
- Great verbal, written communication and time management skills
