The Role

The SEO Specialist works across multiple SEO channels and accounts, and is a highly-organised strategic thinker that is able to develop and implement client solutions independently. The position services clients directly as a client lead, supported by the Cluster Lead.

Objectives

Successfully manage relationships with new and existing clients to understand client objectives. Meet and exceed the objectives of clients through the successful development and implementation of online marketing strategies working with internal teams.

Responsibilities

- Liaise with key clients on a day to day basis.
- Develop and manage client projects, working with various internal and external stakeholders to implement tracking, attribution, reporting and campaign solutions.
- Prepare and present client reporting; identifying and communicating new opportunities, value delivered, and strategic direction.
- Train and develop skills of junior team members, supported by the Cluster Lead.
- Promote the Sparro values and culture.

Skills

- Effective client, stakeholder and staff management.
- An advanced ability to independently plan, strategise, and mobilise to achieve a project.
- A confident and considered approach to problem solving and project management.
- High-level skills in digital channels, tactics and strategy.
- Detailed understanding of channel tactics and best practices.

Performance Measurement

The performance of the SEO Specialist will be determined based on their ability to:
- Successfully implement online marketing strategies as per briefs and requirements, indicating attention to detail and the ability to follow directions and meet client objectives.
- Contribute to marketing strategies or development briefs with educated ideas and recommendations; indicating initiative, as well as an understanding of, and interest in, online marketing concepts and their application.
- Develop an advanced level of proficiency in Google Analytics and other online marketing channels.
- Contribute to the values and culture of Sparro
