Job Description

As a direct report to the Founder at Segments, your role will be pivotal in shaping and executing our client’s SEO strategies. With an emphasis on innovation and excellence, you'll lead the SEO team in delivering impactful solutions for a diverse client base, ranging from startups to global brands.

Your position offers a prime opportunity to significantly influence our business growth and build out your own team. Collaborating closely with the Founder, you'll ensure that SEO initiatives align with the company's overarching vision and goals.

As part of our commitment to professional growth, you'll have access to specialized training programs and resources aimed at enhancing your SEO skills and proficiency in related digital marketing areas. Furthermore, you'll engage in regular knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to our internal resource Wiki, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and teamwork within the SEO team and throughout the organization

Your primary responsibilities for this role will include:

- Conduct thorough technical SEO audits, analyses, and provide - - - - recommendations. Collaborate with client teams and third-party agencies to ensure the successful implementation of complex technical tasks and roadmaps.
- Perform SEO-focused content audits, competitor analyses, and identify optimization opportunities across various content formats such as editorial, e-commerce, and video. Develop comprehensive optimization plans based on findings.
- Create and deliver detailed SEO reports that offer deep insights, accompanied by actionable next steps.
- Develop strategies and roadmaps that align with client objectives and key performance indicators.
- Take the lead in SEO communications with clients, fostering healthy and successful relationships.
- Collaborate with other Segment specialists to deliver end-to-end and holistic activities, integrating multiple capabilities to achieve client goals.
- Hire a team of SEO Experts, train and mentor whilst building out a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing

Qualifications
- Demonstrated track record of 3-6 years in managing SEO Campaigns
- Two years of leadership experience, showcasing effective team guidance and motivation.
- Proficient in utilizing key industry tools like Lumar, OnCrawl, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Majestic SEO, Screaming Frog, Page Speed Insights, Google - Search Console, and Google Analytics.
- Confident in client-facing roles and adept at contributing to successful - new business pitches.
- Passionate about building enduring client relationships and delivering tangible business value.
- Strong team player, valuing diverse perspectives and working collaboratively towards common goals.
- Skilled at leveraging data and market insights to drive informed decision-making and craft effective business strategies.
- Proactive in generating innovative solutions and exploring emerging technologies to tackle complex challenges.
