Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an SEO/ Google Ads Account Manager at Blackbox Design in Melbourne, VIC. The Account Manager will conduct keyword research, SEO audits, link building, web analytics, and on-page SEO. Some flexibility for remote work is available.

This role will include the following duties and responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing clients, building and nurturing strong client relationships.
- Developing SEO strategies utilising SEO tools
- Performing Site Audits, Keyword Research, and UX assessments of client websites
- Monthly reporting of results for Google Ads and SEO clients
- Creating, updating, and optimising Google Ads campaigns
- Liaising with Website Developers for client web updates and technical SEO changes
- Regular client progress meetings to discuss results and strategies (Phone and Online Calls)
- Creative Briefs for Content Writers for on-page and blog articles

Experience, skills, and knowledge required for this role include:

- Working knowledge and experience implementing and maintaining Google Ads Campaigns
- Experience managing SEO Campaigns, developing strategies, ands recommendation implementation
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and SEO tools such as SEMrush
- Ability to discuss SEO and Google Ads based strategies directly with clients
- This is a client facing role, good communication and the ability to build relationship skills are essential

What you’ll bring to the role

- 4-5+ Years working in a similar role (agency experience highly regarded)
- Flexible to manage clients from a range of industries
- A Solid understanding of SEO, and Google Ads best practices
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEO tools, email marketing software and social media management tools.
- A Creative thinker and has a passion for staying updated on industry trends.
- Has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- A strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and deliver convincing messages.
- Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A Strong written and verbal communicator.
